She has netted over 100 goals for Bayern and found the net 54 times in 82 caps for Germany. Her arrival will be seen as a marquee signing for the WSL team. Departure from Bayern was expected after she appeared to be holding back emotions while thanking the German club’s supporters following a victory over Bayer Leverkusen recently. It was reported in December that the German women's top flight was losing one of its top forwards. According to multiple sources, all the paperwork for the transfer are now finalised. Consistent Goal Threat to Strengthen United's Attack The 28-year-old’s arrival should represent a major boost to the team's forward line. She has been remarkably reliable with her finishing in the Bundesliga. For seven consecutive seasons, including the most recent campaign, she reached at least a double-digit tally of league goals. She claimed the Golden Boot in 2021-22 season with 16 goals.
